Counter Mapping

While traditional mapping largely takes a distanced birds-eye view (“conqueror's” view) of a geographically defined place, important details and layers of them such as people’s histories, experiences, emotions, sensorial + environmental markers, time, strenuousness of moving through, lack or abundance of surveillance cameras etc. are omitted. This project take considerations of the interaction, emotion, and experience of my high school.
